 Author Tony Garcia donates books for 
    Bali charity 
     Kuta, Bali Indonesia - September 6 - On a recent Bali book promotion tour author Tony Garcia donated 
    copies of Tracks of the Tiger: G-land & Bali, Indonesia, Ollie's Point: Witches' Rock & Tamarindo, Costa Rica and Sword of the Prophet: Anchor Point & Taghazoute, Morocco 
    for a Balinese charity which supports orphans with money for 
    schooling and nutrition. The author presented the 
    books to Ken Bristow A.K.A Slim, the Australian publisher of 
    www.Baliwaves.com since 1999 the island's original surf report website. Slim is a long time 
    Bali resident is coordinating donations for the charity. 
     On the north and east coasts of Bali there are villages that because of economic 
    circumstances find it difficult to afford necessities for their children for 
    schooling and nutrition. The average yearly wage in Indonesia is 
    approximately $600 and because of  economic downturn  
    many people have found it hard to make ends meet. The aim of the 
    charity is to help Bali's orphans. The island's orphans will be aided with 
    school fees, uniforms, materials and healthy food. Tony Garcia was in Bali 
    to promote Tracks of the Tiger audio book.
